One probably reason why some link building may not work because on the On Page problem. Sometimes we misunderstood the use of meta tags.We must remember keyword stuffing is an overused of keywords in meta tags and according to Danny Sullivan “If there’s anything I particularly hate when it comes to SEO, it’s the meta keywords tag.I so wish it had never been invented. It’s practically useless, yet people still obsess over it.”

The reason the majority of link building methods are doomed to fail is that the site/content they are used on behalf simply isn’t of the caliber to isnspire the caliber of link that would push that content/site up in rank. I’m not sure I’m really a better link builder than anyone else, but by virtue of longevity and by sticking to ethical white hatness, it’s allowed me to get clients with such good content that getting links is simply a matter of using my skills to find the right targets that might help them rank. But in the end, it isn’t me who makes that content rank. It’s the content. I just have an approach that workd really well for the right kind of content.

I’m new to this link thing, just learning the ropes. Your no BS approach to talking about it is helpful, provides a kind of palate cleansing perspective. (and you sound like the guy I’m working with who’s got all the experience)
